Scoop Watch is developed and operated by Tarakona Industries LLC ("Tarakona Industries," "we," "us," or "our"), a South Carolina limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information Scoop Watch collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.
Scoop Watch is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate a server that stores or receives your personal information. The information you enter into the app — such as your name, your pets' details, and your reminder preferences — stays on your device unless you choose to contact us directly (for example, by emailing support).
When you use Scoop Watch, the following information is stored locally on your device only:
This information is not transmitted to Tarakona Industries, is not stored on any server we operate, and is not shared with any third party by us. It remains on your device and, if you have device backups enabled (such as iCloud Backup), may be included in those backups as part of your device's own backup process, which is managed by Apple and governed by Apple's own privacy practices, not ours.
If you choose to add a photo (for example, as a pet emblem or profile picture), Scoop Watch accesses your device's photo library only with your permission, granted through your device's operating system. The selected photo is stored locally on your device as part of the app's data and is not uploaded to us or any third party.
Scoop Watch+ and Effien subscriptions are billed and processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's in-app purchase system. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card information, billing address, or any other payment details — Apple handles all of that directly under Apple's own privacy policy. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status (active or inactive) so that the app can unlock the appropriate features.
Scoop Watch's cleaning reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device using your device's operating system. We do not operate a push-notification server, and reminder content is not transmitted off of your device.
If you choose to contact us directly — for example, through a support or feedback email link within the app — we will receive whatever information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to you and to improve Scoop Watch, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties. You may ask us to delete any correspondence you've sent us at any time by contacting us using the information in Section 10.
Scoop Watch does not currently use any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting tools, and does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and the App Store's App Privacy disclosure to accurately reflect any new data collection before it takes effect.
Scoop Watch is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app does not collect information on our servers, we do not maintain any of your information for any user, including children, in a location we control. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through a support or contact email, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including if Scoop Watch's features or data practices change (for example, if we add analytics, accounts, or a server-based feature in the future). If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
